What’s the job about?

• You will develop online stores on Magento technology for the largest stores in our country and abroad.
• Discover the world of e-com giants with everything it involves (business performance, development, operation, optimization, monitoring).
• It is a dynamic work that requires thinking and inventiveness. On the other hand, you will have nice colleagues who will always help you and never say “I’m busy”.
• We use headless technology, meaning you don’t have to deal with the frontend. But it’s definitely an advantage if you’re close to Docker or Kubernetes.
• Work on a project is usually done in a team of 5-8 people. Often remotely, sometimes from a desk in the Prosek office, as it comes up or as you prefer😊
• If you’re interested, you can join the development of our Platform X for efficient development of new e-commerce projects.

We usually deal with two types of projects:

1. Integration. First with the client’s ERP system and then e. g. on marketplaces. The requirements for optimization of queries and the actual processing must be taken into account. Design of API methods and individual layers. Monitoring and investigation of possible edge-cases.
2. Development of new functionalities in the form of modules. Usually, we review whether a currently available module would be suitable or could be somehow modified. If it is possible, we do a review and start installation typically with Composer. Sometimes we need to extend features or optimize performance.

What do we need from you?

• You have solid knowledge of PHP (OOP), MySQL, JavaScript, HTML.
• You have some experience with an object framework (any type).
• You don’t mind changes and know how to handle them.
• Knowledge of English, just enough to read a manual or assignment (if you can handle normal communication, even better 😉)
• It would be great if you also have experience with some of the following: Magento, Vue.js, React, Zend Framework, jQuery, Linux, Docker.
• To make it short, we are looking for a colleague who can work hard, but can also relax and come with us for one beer, more like two 🙂
